We resume our reports from al-Shām, bringing to the attention of the Ummah a topic that is particularly relevant to the mission of Swordless Jihād. As a reminder, this blog was established as a platform open to “all those Muslims who actively oppose the misguided approach to Islām promoted by deviant ideological currents that distort the concept of armed jihād”, even when they conceal their true objectives or refrain from stating them explicitly.
As the embarrassed President Jewlani is increasingly forced to balance the halāl with the harām in order to maintain the support of the Turkish, Arab, and Western kuffār, a deeply troubling new phenomenon has emerged from the madrasas (madāris) of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS): an organization known as “Hasan Mansour Triplex” (HMT).
We had no idea that HMT even existed until we came across its Instagram profile, where dozens of videos feature children, teenagers, and young adults – including a significant number of girls – receiving both physical and ideological training for warfare under the guise of a martial arts school. Is this the new generation of Syrians who may one day be exploited to fight who knows what battles, abusing the concept of “armed jihād”?
From HTS to HMT, from Idlib to Damascus, the leap was a short one. Hundreds of young people take part in performances worthy of the finest Bruce Lee, displaying remarkable acrobatic abilities under the guidance of the “master” who gave the organization his own name: Hasan Mansour.
Around thirty years old, Hasan Mansour presents himself as the older brother figure of an army of young people dressed in black and showing all the hallmarks of a softened version of the “Cubs of the Caliphate”. Remember the program promoted by ISIS to indoctrinate and train child soldiers? The aim was to indoctrinate them from an early age to the blasphemous ideology of death and destruction promoted by the so-called “anti-Islamic state of terror”.
HMT’s repertoire is not limited to videos featuring flips, punches, and flying kicks. Mansour and his “cubs” also appear in short films depicting scenes of war, including trenches, gunfire, and bombardments. The older boys, dressed in military uniforms and armed with machine guns, fight and often die as “martyrs” at the hands of the “enemy”. Meanwhile, the younger children, although not carrying weapons themselves, are portrayed supporting the soldiers and, in extreme cases, are called upon to intervene directly by carrying out heroic acts, such as killing the “enemy” with a stone thrown at the head. The youngest participants may even be killed and “martyred” themselves.
With the Qurʾān in hand, Mansour offers advice, directives, and exhortations, repeatedly invoking the Name of the Most High in vain… Astaghfirullāh!
Even in stories that do not depict scenes of war, knives and guns remain part of the imagery that characterizes the daily lives of HMT’s young Syrians. Is this the Islamic upbringing that has emerged from the anti-Assad Revolution? Is this how Muslims are meant to embody “strength, compassion, and wisdom,” the three components of the violent Triplex promoted by Hassan Mansour?
We believe not, although the thousands of spectators who enthusiastically attend the performances of the “cubs” while jumping across the stage appear to think otherwise. That enthusiasm is shared by millions of followers around the world, including not a few Muslim men and women in Italy.
Should we be concerned? Allāhu aʿlam, but the answer is very likely “yes”.
HMT is not a martial arts school. Rather, it is an incubator for a new generation of khawārij and “misguided of jihād”. Therefore, those Muslims who follow the organization’s social media channels and occasionally leave a “like” are undoubtedly exposing themselves to the malignant influence of Shayṭān. It is a deception, and our appeal is for them to reflect, recognize the trap into which they have fallen, and return to the Straight Path. Block the “Hassan Mansour Triplex” profile now!
