The “misguided of jihād” have struck again. This time in the small Dagestan, with over 20 victims and 45 injured, as a result of the double and coordinated terrorist attack carried out in Derbent and Makhachkala. Evidently, the “anti-Islamic state of terror” suffers from the “shadow cone” it has ended up into for some time now and, to gain some visibility, executes senseless massacres, which have nothing to do with the jihād according to the prophetic method and consequently bring nothing good to the cause of Allāh swt and Muslims.
In the recent past, armed impostors disguised as mujāhidīn had already attacked churches and synagogues in the Islamic republic, but its multi-ethnic population, while patiently awaiting the day when it will no longer be part of the Russian Federation, does not intend in any way to join the phantom Caucasians “wilayat”, which exist only in the “deviant” minds of the pseudo-caliphs and their followers, as previously they did not want to be incorporated into the alleged al-Qāʿida’s “emirate”.
Yet, the “misguided of jihād” do not stop tormenting this peaceful community with a great Islamic tradition, providing every time excuses to the “tyrant” of Moscow to strengthen his dictatorship and to the desk “analysts” to point their finger on Islām. As an example, just to spread tons of “Islamophobia” on the internet, some self-styled “expert” thought of linking the recent terrorist attack against Christians and Jews to the anti-Zionist and pro-Palestine protests that took place at the airport in Makhachkala at the beginning of the genocide in the Gaza Strip. An obvious and dishonest instrumentalization, but who are those who fueled it, playing the usual game of the “enemies” of Islām whom instead they purport to be fighting?
The “anti-Islamic state of terror” did not officially acknowledge responsibility for the terrorist attack, unlike in the case of the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, whose authorship was claimed by the murderers of its regional branch, the Anti-Islamic State Khorasan Province (AISKP). Nonetheless, all evidence points back to them, especially as the new massacre was abundantly celebrated by the main “deviant” propaganda magazine of the AISKP (Voice of Khurasan) and on many likeminded online platforms, where the killing of Christian and Jewish “kuffār” (and not of innocent people) was hailed, but on what doctrinal grounds? Coexistence with the “people of the book” in the local Muslim majority context has been ongoing for centuries, and without any threat to our Dagestani brothers and sisters. Therefore, from an Islamic point of view there is nothing to celebrate!
Furthermore, even if we want to correlate the attack with the historical clash with Russia, who is benefiting from it? Guess… the Tsar Putin of course, who, similarly to Chechnya where he can count on his trusted Kadyrov, can now tighten his grip on Dagestan through the dictator of the moment, in this case General Sergey Melikov.
In summary, we are in front of another strategic failure on the part of the “anti-Islamic state of terror”, and they even call it jihād, believing that they are mujāhidīn!
As for the attackers, regime official Magomed Omarov has been struck by a shocking family tragedy, since among them there are two of his sons (Osman, Adil) and a nephew (Abdusamad Amadziyev), who were neutralized and arrested by the police.
To be killed in the clashes together with another militant (Ali Zakarigaev) was instead the 28-year-old Gadzhimurad Kagirov, a young man with the reputation as a “fighter” of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), a discipline where North Caucasus’ Muslims and notably the Dagestanis are leading athletes. Just think of the great international champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, in whose facilities Kagirov used to train himself.
In general, MMA is highly appreciated by Muslims, since it falls into the category of the “Sunnah sports”. Kagirov’s terrorist drift, however, confirms what Swordlessjihād has been maintaining for quite some time, namely that the “Sunnah sports” must be practiced a lot, Alḥamdulillāh, but with the awareness that Shayṭān can use them as a door to penetrate the minds of young people and misguide them, leading them to terrorist violence.
Therefore, the young people who practice “fighting” inside mosques here in Italy and in the rest of Europe should be on their guard, as the deceptions of evil are always around the corner!
Back to Omarov, given the massive involvement of his family, he ended up under investigation to verify his possible role in the affair. Meanwhile, Melikov already removed him from office, justifying the dismissal by Omarov’s failure to fulfill his “duty to protect the population” and, as a father, “for not having paid attention to his son’s actions”.
In all likelihood, Melikov will exploit what happened to make a clean sweep of unwelcome collaborators, replacing them with individuals subordinate to him, naturally on Putin’s behalf. This is to underline the grave short-sightedness that guides the “misguided of jihād” in their actions, which are always counterproductive, ending up in a way or another to harm Islam and Muslims.
Such a short-sightedness results from the ideological blindness that affects militants once they have been infected by the virus of extremism, which can take root anywhere, at any social level, as demonstrated by the latest tragic events in Dagestan. As a matter of fact, it certainly cannot be said that the attackers were destitute or persecuted. Rather, they belonged to the so-called local “elite”, as occurred in many other cases of terrorism.
The methods of indoctrination and recruitment remain to be discovered, but we bet our “2 cents” that the internet and social media have played a decisive role, which does not exclude the presence of terrorist “cells” on the ground.
In short, the torment goes on. When and where will the next innocent victims be? Yet, the fate of Shayṭān’s soldiers has already been sealed by Allāh swt: “I will fill Hell with all of you, you [Shayṭān] and those who followed you” (Sūrat al-A’ rāf, 7:18). Therefore, do stop and repent while you are still on time! Otherwise, you will have already lost your life even in the Ākhirah.
