MYSTIFICATIONS

With the column “Mystifications”, the blog Swordless Jihād aims to shed a light of truth and knowledge on the instrumental and manipulative use of concepts, historical facts, and the legacy of prominent Muslim sages, by “deviant” individuals and sects advocating for “extremist” and anti-Islamic ideologies. “Mystifications” is addressed above all to those brothers and sisters who have fallen into their trap, exchanging “guidance for error” (sūrat al-Baqara, 2:16) “while they thought they were doing good” (sūrat al- Kahf, 18:104), with the hope of encouraging them to undertake a process of reflection and repentance that will lead them back to the “Straight Path” (aṣ‑Sirāṭ al-Mustaqīm) of authentic Islām. Bi’ithnillāh.

NAFS
The concept of Nafs continues to be subject to grave “mystifications”, in particular by the usual “misguided of Jihād”, who continue to transform its meaning into a pretext to justify violence, terrorism and the cult of death.

RAMADĀN
During this time of Ramadān 1446, it is appropriate more than ever to shed light on the “mystifications” that the “best of months” continues to suffer at the hands of the usual “misguided of Jihād”.

TAWHĪD
Tawhīd for us Muslims is the foundation of everything and the “misguided of Jihād” know this well. So what “mystifications” of the concept of Tawhīd have they elaborated in an attempt to legitimize their atrocities and attract proselytes?

JIHĀD
The utmost attention must be paid to the “mystifications” of the Islamic concept of jihād, as the result of the ideological delirium of “terrorist groups” and pseudo-shuyūkh of terror, who spread fitna and “misguidance” especially among young Muslims on the internet and social media.
