MORE VICTIMS OF THE “MISGUIDED OF JIHĀD”: IT’S TIME TO SAY ENOUGH!

Reading time: 4m46s

The “misguided of jihād” left their mark of death last summer as well. The 26-year-old Syrian who killed 3 people and wounded 9 in Solingen, Germany, ʿIssa al-K., acted as a “lone wolf”, namely without operating on behalf of any particular group. However, the investigators confirmed his ideological affiliation with the “anti-Islamic state of Terror”, although there is no evidence at this time that the organization directly instigated the massacre.

Nonetheless, the fake mujāhidīn of the alleged “Islamic State” did not miss the opportunity to claim yet another attack through a video message, where they did not fail to mention the genocide of the Palestinian Muslims in the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to regain at least a slice of the media visibility they have lost.

The possibility that the “misguided of jihād” could strike again was predictable. The tension sparked by the European concerts of an American “singer” (Taylor Swift) had paved the way for the gesture of the young man from the Bilād al-Shām. Peace to the souls of the victims, consolation to the families, and a speedy recovery for the wounded, also from a psychological point of view.

The urge to kill by pronouncing the name of Allāh Subḥānahu wa Taʿālā in vain could be linked to the personal situation of ʿĪssā al-K., who was an aspiring refugee disappointed by his expulsion decree due to the lack of the necessary requirements. This is where the “anti-Islamic state of Terror” has crept in with its manipulations of the mind and heart, transforming him into a little soldier of Shayṭān.

How many young people with desperate stories and in circumstances similar to those of ʿĪssā al-K, ended up in the hands of the “misguided of jihād”? Many, too many! As already happened in the past…

Among those they brainwashed, we cannot fail to mention the infamous “Jihadi John”, a British youngster of Kuwaiti origin, who used to be the ferocious face of the rise of the “anti-Islamic state of Terror” in the Shām. He returned to Allāh swt at the age of 27, but what fate did he have in the Ākhirah?

For some years now, news reports have been regularly telling of injuries and escaped murders, Alḥamdulillāh, following attacks carried out in the streets or stations, on buses or in the subways of European cities, mostly by young and very young Muslims, to whom the “cult” of violence was inculcated by the “misguided of jihād” as the only possible response to difficult social situations.

In reality, the troubled youths who struggle to integrate surrender to the flattery of these manipulators and fake believers, more out of desperation than actual ideological conviction. As a matter of fact, contrary to their expectations, the “anti-Islamic state of terror” offers them nothing more than the illusion of belonging to a group where they can rediscover their identity and get some protection based on a pseudo-brotherhood of faith. Instead, the “anti-Islamic state of terror” just manipulates and exploits them to achieve its sordid goals, regardless of what their fate will be. We must be careful!

Here is why the educational role of families and of society itself is of fundamental importance in accompanying the youngest in their path of growth, so that they do not give in to the ever-present deceptions of “deviant” organizations.

As Muslims we are all called to fulfill our duty, by spreading awareness of these dangers and promoting non-violence through Da’wa activities, online and otherwise. From this point of view, we at the blog Swordless Jihād are and will remain on the frontline. To strengthen our engagement, we are ready to provide assistance and support to those young people and families who unfortunately find themselves caught in moments of confusion and dramatic circumstances, which are still very widespread.

We are here to listen and provide help. Just write us an email (jihadsenzaspada@gmail.com), even in a completely anonymous form, if you prefer, or contact us on our social media. May Allāh al-Musta’ān facilitate us in this effort and guide to the Straight Path the brothers and sisters who have lost it, following the way of perdition of the “misguided of jihād”. Amīn!
